The most famous cherry blossom festival in the United States is the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. Each spring over a million people celebrate Eliza's cherry trees with blossom viewing around the Tidal Basin, parties, art, performances, and a large parade. It was the 100th anniversary in 2012. See the NCBF website here.
But Washington isn't the only city that celebrates in pink--many cities around the world enjoy cherry trees!
